Speakeasy Club

The Speakeasy Club is a new, informal networking group aimed at those wanting to improve their public speaking skills and at the same time revive the fast-disappearing art of conversation.

The monthly forum offers the opportunity to participate in a variety of impromptu speaking exercises in a relaxed and supportive environment. There will also be a sprinkling of more formal speeches – with all participants encouraged to evaluate each other’s contributions and provide useful feedback.

The first meeting

Monday June 9, 2008 at 7.45 pm for 8 pm
@ The Werks, 45 Church Road, Hove
Meetings will then be held at the same venue on the second Monday of each month (except August).

Cost

£4 on the door – including refreshments.

Who can come?

Open to all but aimed particularly at Brighton & Hove’s business and creative communities.

We are looking for 2 people to volunteer to do full speeches each night - please get in touch if you want to do one of these.

Visit the Speakeasy Club website to for more details and to sign up.
